Bob was commissioned in the US Navy and served as an air intelligence officer. He joined IBM in 1960, retiring 29 years later. He loved life and fought hard and long to keep it! He loved his family and friends, many of whom were life-long. He especially liked helping others. Bob enjoyed boating so much that he and his wife, Joan, lived aboard their 48’ yacht for 6 years when he also served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Cruising and fishing the waters of Puget Sound and north as far as Alaska created many lifetime memories.
