This site is dedicated to the memory of Bob.

Robert (Bob) Mills Lewis died January 24th, 2011 after courageous battles with heart and lung diseases. He was born June 8, 1933 in Seattle, and graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma as a state swimming champion. In 1955 he graduated from the University of Washington where he was president of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and the student athletic association. Bob was commissioned in the US Navy and served as an air intelligence officer. He joined IBM in 1960, retiring 29 years later. He loved life and fought hard and long to keep it! He loved his family and friends, many of whom were life-long. He especially liked helping others. Bob enjoyed boating so much that he and his wife, Joan, lived aboard their 48’ yacht for 6 years when he also served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Cruising and fishing the waters of Puget Sound and north as far as Alaska created many lifetime memories. Services: St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 11265 SW Cabot St., Beaverton, OR 97005 on Saturday, Feb 19, at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to St. Bartholomew’s.
